How do you drive awareness around the provider data problem and demystify APIs for healthcare?

Approach

Ribbon makes it easier for patients and caregivers to find and coordinate care they need – and make important healthcare decisions – based on reliable, connected data.

The company’s platform empowers payers, providers, and digital health solutions with the data and infrastructure needed to enable accurate provider directories, simple referral management, and efficient care navigation.

We work closely with Ribbon’s marketing team to develop and execute an integrated strategy for communications, content and brand building that supports commercial goals, drives awareness and thought leadership, and attracts top talent.

To establish a strong foundation for storytelling and positioning, we began with a refresh of corporate and customer messaging before developing a roadmap for content and media relations.

Core communications activities are supplemented with a proactive strategy for securing speaking opportunities, industry awards and recognitions, and communications that support the company’s recruiting and hiring needs.

To showcase Ribbon’s mission and the impact of their technology on patients, we examined the patient journey and all of its challenges and inefficiencies.

This piece needed to be relevant for all of Ribbon’s unique audiences and understandable for the lay audience, and translate into engaging social posts.

We developed numerous thought leadership pieces to explain the implications of Ribbon’s work to solve the foundational challenge of provider data in healthcare, ranging from its impact on future innovation to its place in driving better health systems post-pandemic.
